Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the PvPr mobile application, developed by Atsugo. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Service description

PvPr is a strength-training tracking tool that lets you log sets, estimate a theoretical 1RM, join groups, and take part in challenges comparing the performances of their members, optionally normalised by the DOTS index.

2. Free plan and PvPr PRO subscription

The App offers a complete free plan and an optional subscription, “PvPr PRO”. No advertising is served, and your data is never sold or rented, whatever your status.

What stays free, with no time limit: logging your workouts and browsing your entire history, your personal records and estimated 1RM, the full exercise catalogue, taking part in the groups and duels you are invited to, offline use and sync.

What the subscription adds: it lifts volume ceilings (creating groups and challenges without limit, number of saved routines), and unlocks bodyweight normalisation (DOTS score) in duels, chart history with no date limit, and CSV export of your workouts.

No data already recorded is made inaccessible by not subscribing: items created before a ceiling was introduced remain usable — only creating further items beyond the ceiling requires the subscription. Deleting and exporting your personal data under the GDPR remains free in all cases (section 10 and privacy policy).

3. Registration and account

• You must be at least 16 to create an account.
• Registration requires a valid email address and a password.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity carried out from your account.
• The information you provide (username, bodyweight, sex) must be accurate: it directly determines the fairness of the leaderboards you take part in.

4. Code of conduct

You agree not to:

• falsify performances in order to skew a group leaderboard;
• post unlawful, hateful, harassing or pornographic content in group feeds;
• impersonate another user or use a misleading username;
• attempt to access another user's data or to circumvent the service's security rules;
• create multiple accounts to evade a suspension.

Any breach may result in the suspension or deletion of the account, without notice in serious cases.

5. User-generated content and moderation

Groups are private and invite-only: they can only be joined with a 6-character code shared directly by a member. There is no public directory, no discovery feature and no global feed.

Within a group, you may publish messages and comments. You remain responsible for what you post. The App provides the following tools:

• Reporting: every post and comment can be reported in one tap, with a reason. Reports are reviewed and objectionable content is removed.
• Blocking: you can block any user. Their posts and comments then disappear from every feed you see, immediately and on all your devices.

We undertake to review reports and to act on content that breaches section 4 within 24 hours. Content found to be objectionable is removed and the author's account may be suspended.

6. Health and sport warning

The default routines suggested in the App (Push / Pull / Legs) are generic examples, not tailored to your individual physical condition.

Consult a health professional before starting or intensifying physical activity, particularly if you have a medical history. Atsugo disclaims all liability in the event of injury, incorrect execution of an exercise, or any consequence connected with the use of the data displayed by the App.

7. Service availability and limitation of liability

We strive to provide a continuous service but guarantee neither the absence of interruption nor the absence of error. The App works offline for logging workouts; social features (leaderboards, group feeds) require a connection.

We cannot be held liable for:

• temporary service interruptions for maintenance;
• data loss caused by events beyond our control;
• the accuracy of statistical estimates (theoretical 1RM, DOTS score), which rely on approximate formulas.

8. Intellectual property

The App, its code, its design and its graphic elements are the property of Atsugo and protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute or modify them without prior written authorisation.

You retain ownership of the content you publish (notes, group messages), while granting us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it to the members of the relevant groups as part of the operation of the service.

9. PvPr PRO subscription terms

This section applies to any purchase of the “PvPr PRO” subscription made from the App.

• Plans: a monthly and an annual subscription. As of today, indicative prices are €5.99 per month and €47.99 per year, including tax. The price that applies is the one displayed by the App Store or Google Play at the time of purchase, in your currency and with the taxes applicable in your country; it is shown to you before you confirm.
• Automatic renewal: the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period and is billed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellation: it is done from your store account settings, not from PvPr — Apple or Google Play. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for: you keep access to PvPr PRO until that date.
• Refunds: we never collect payments directly and therefore cannot issue a refund. Any request must be addressed to the store (Apple or Google Play).
• Right of withdrawal: the subscription is digital content supplied immediately. Under article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, by confirming the purchase you request immediate performance and expressly waive your fourteen-day right of withdrawal. This does not affect Apple's and Google's own refund policies, which are more favourable in practice.
• Price changes: any increase will be notified by the store before it takes effect and will only apply from the next renewal, with your express consent where the store's rules require it.
• When the subscription ends: your account returns to the free plan. No data is deleted: workouts, history, records, groups and challenges remain accessible. Only creating beyond the free ceilings becomes unavailable again.
• Restoring purchases: a subscription is tied to your PvPr account, not to a device. The Restore my purchases button, available in settings and on the subscription screen, restores it after a reinstall or on a new device.

10. Suspension and termination

We reserve the right to suspend or delete any account breaching these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete my account, or by following the procedure described on the Account deletion page.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may be modified. Any substantial change will be notified in the App; continued use constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action.
